Shop 101 is an unofficial course that is designed to help students learn how to use machining tools (additive and subtractive) safely and skillfully. As of January 2018 for admittance to the shop each student must complete the "Safety Training" to be physically in the shop. More shop requirements and regulations are listed in the Shop Rules and Regulations page.

Prerequisites

• All courses require the "Safety Training" certification is to be received before you can take the given course.
• The "Safety Training" certification is exempt to the above rule.
• The other prerequisites for individual certifications are listed below.

• Hand Circular Saw

• 3D Printing (PLA)
  • Prerequisites: Safety Training

• Welding (TIG)
